We are thrilled to share her skills and talents with you, Melissa has been taking family and couples’ photos in our cherry orchard during the Spring, when blossoms are at their best. How long have you been doing photography Melissa?
I was given my first DSLR camera 5 years ago and it took off from there. I started taking pictures of my children and family and then moved on to doing it for others more seriously in the last 3 years.
What is it about photography that you love?
I love documenting love and connection in photos. Photos provide people with a snapshot of their life at that time, I want to make it meaningful and emotional for my clients.
What are your favourite types of photos to take?
I am a sucker for a good old candid black and white photo, I find they show so much emotion. I also love shooting when the sun is setting, it adds such beautiful light to photos.
Where are you from/how far are you willing to travel to take photos?
I am based in Grimsby but travel all over to take photos! I love being in new locations.
What types of services do you offer?
I offer family, children, couples/engagement, maternity, headshot, and newborn lifestyle photography. I am also available for event and product photography.

Living in Grimsby has provided such an amazing backdrop for photography. When it came to decide on a perfect location to highlight what the area has to offer, I contacted Kelly and Dave and Hildreth Farm. They were amazing to work with.
